Support With Compassion Family Counseling is owned and operated by Donna L. Withrow, LCSW-C. Donna began the practice with a desire to meet people wherever they are in their life journey and to help them see only they have the power to change.
Donna holds an undergraduate degree in Sociology from Towson University and a Masters in Social Work from University of Maryland Baltimore. She is licensed in the state of Maryland as a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C).
She has expertise in couples relationships and family dynamics. She has developed and facilitated numerous marriage seminars, as well as, developing and facilitating parenting classes.
She has also enjoyed developing and facilitating groups for teens and preteens. These groups focused on character building, peer pressure, developing self-value, and controlling impulses.
Donna has done extensive work with military and government personnel and has deep understanding of the challenges that face our military and government families from deployment to reunification.
